Sixty in 16

Oh man, you guys, I suck at blogging!  I get all these great ideas in my head and then I just never blog about them. New Year's Resolution #1: BLOG MORE!

Here's a fun post to jump start my new resolution.  The other day I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw this-
And I was like, OMG, I could totally do this.  You guys, I am an obsessive reader.  Like, I can't even explain to you the addiction.  One time in first grade, I missed the first 20 minutes of music class because I was reading in the library at recess and I didn't hear the bell ring because I was so into my book (yes, I did read at the library by myself during recess...don't judge).  That story just about sums up me as a reader.  Anyway, last year, I read 77 books.  This year, not so many, but I have an excuse.  I'm in grad school and I don't allow myself to read during the semester (Why, you ask? See above story).  But 60 books is do-able when you think about all the days off and the summer, so I'm in!

I love  all genres, from young adult to romance to memoirs.  Here are a  few off of my 2016 list.
You can follow me on my Goodreads account to see what I'm reading now.

  1. Thank you so much for taking on the Sixty Book Challenge with me! I love some of your book choices. I hope you enjoy Thing About Jellyfish. That book was one of my favorites of 2015! I need to add Love Letters Dead to my reading list. Thanks for sharing your commitment to reading!

    Happy New Year's Eve!
